About ACVA

ACVA is currently showing BabelswarmVisit in Second Life (requires the SL application), or visit the project website.

The Australian Centre of Virtual Art (ACVA) was established in 2007 to help promote the work of selected artists working in digital, hybrid and virtual mediums. ACVA's first exhibition, Babelswarm, won the Australia Council's inaugural Second Life Artists in Residence award.

We’ll be rolling out new initiatives over the following months, including ACVA Lab and a critical journal with essays from some of the industry’s most respected writers and theorists.
